Date Night at the Museum

Mark your calendars and make plans now with a special someone for Date Night at the Museum on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. This special after-hours event is the perfect adult night out with a loved one or friend!

Guests to Date Night at the Museum can plan to enjoy the following activities throughout the evening:

  • Live music by David Justin
  • Free bites and beverages inspired by the special exhibition Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West from Free State Cellars
  • Mini gallery tours of Black Pioneers: Legacy in the American West with Teaching Artists
  • Artist showcases by local artists, including live drawing demonstrations and the opportunity to purchase hand-thrown ceramics with all proceeds benefitting the Southeast Texas Food Bank
  • Interactive gallery games for adults led by Teaching Artists
  • Time up close with your favorite works of art (and the opportunity to discover new favorites!)
