Art Quest @ Home Summer Camps

In response to challenges presented by Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and the uncertainties surrounding our ability to meet in person as groups for the foreseeable future, the Stark Museum of Art Education department has developed a series of web-based at-home summer art kits. These web-based Art Quest @ Home summer art kits will offer a weekly project with supporting visual arts activities that participants complete at home with the virtual guidance of a Stark Museum of Art Educator. Art Quest @ Home summer art kits are designed to accommodate students entering 1st-6th grades in the 2020-2021 school year with an interest in visual art.

Each registered Art Quest @ Home participant will receive a ‘summer art kit’ via pickup at the museum located at 712 Green Avenue, Orange, TX 77630.  Each session has a designated pick up time as indicated below. The kit will contain packets designated by day with materials that correspond to an activity hosted virtually by a Stark Museum of Art Education staff member. All Art Quest @ Home videos are pre-recorded and available for use any time after release, so that they can be fit into the participant’s daily schedule. Only those participants who have registered will receive all the materials needed to actively participate in a virtual Art Quest @ Home sessions.

Participation and receipt of an Art Quest @ Home Kit is made on a first-come, first-served basis. Online registration begins June 15, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
