Below you will find the Stark Museum of Art’s 2021-2022 Virtual Field Trips & Student Art Exhibitions Catalog! This is the first release of information about our 2021-2022 school programs. We are excited to announce the return of our Virtual Field Trip offerings for Pre-K-12th grade students, along with our Student Art Exhibitions for K-12th grade students.
Virtual Field Trips offer students the opportunity to visit the Museum from the comfort and safety of your classroom. Most Virtual Field Trips include a Studio Art Kit with supplies for a hands-on studio art project for your classroom. Thanks to the generous funding of the Nelda C. and H.J. Lutcher Stark Foundation, Studio Art Kits are FREE for public, private, and homeschools in Region 5, Texas and Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
New this year, we have developed a Mural @ Home program for your classroom. This program allows you to download and print a scalable mural for your classroom or campus in a variety of sizes up to 13.5′ x 7′. This new approach to our mural program allows more students and schools access to this beloved program and also provides your students the opportunity to work collaboratively while maintaining social distance in the classroom.
I want you to know that we have been hard at work preparing for Onsite Field Trips for the 2021-2022 school year, and we hope to release information and registration dates soon. The Stark Museum of Art is committed to being a good community neighbor and providing safe museum experiences for students and teachers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to welcoming students and teachers back for our world-class onsite educational programs soon!

Mural @ Home Program
The Stark Museum of Art typically offers a special opportunity for public elementary and intermediate campuses in Orange County to help paint murals that are installed along the perimeter fence of the Museum. This program is currently paused due to the ongoing pandemic and the up-close nature of the work required on a large-scale, collaborative work of art.
However, Pre-K-12 teachers can now download a color-along mural for their classroom. This project consists of multiple pieces that can be assembled to create a mural for your classroom or campus.
Download options include:
- 20 pieces for a 4.6′ x 2.8′ mural
- 50 pieces for a 7.5′ x 3.75′ mural
- 88 pieces for a 9.75′ x 5.6′ mural
- 165 or 234 pieces for a 13′ x 7.5′ mural
The mural is available to all Pre-K-12 teachers. Registration is required to access the download.
